// ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using 1 Bit Arcade ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

// LICENSE

1 Bit Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

// DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

1 Bit Arcade is a collection of retro-styled mini-games presented in a 1-bit terminal aesthetic. The App allows you to:

Play a curated set of arcade-style mini-games on iOS
Track personal high scores locally on your device
Optionally submit scores to a global online leaderboard
Use the App for free with ads, or remove ads (and unlock any locked games) via a one-time premium purchase

// ADVERTISING

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob.
Ads are not selected, reviewed, or controlled by 1 Bit Studio. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.
Interacting with an ad may take you outside the App to a third-party destination governed by that party's own terms.
The one-time premium purchase removes all ads.
Details about what data AdMob collects are in the Privacy Policy.

// PREMIUM UNLOCK

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase that removes all advertisements and unlocks any locked games.
Payment is processed through Apple's App Store.
Premium is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices using the "Restore Purchases" option.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

// LEADERBOARD & USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT

The App includes an optional online leaderboard:

You may submit a display name of your choice along with your score for a given game.
You are responsible for the display names you submit. Do not submit names that are offensive, infringing, impersonating, or otherwise unlawful.
We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe were generated using cheats, exploits, or modified clients.
To request removal of a specific entry, contact [email protected].

// LOCAL GAME DATA

Your high scores, settings, and unlock status are stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for backing up your own data. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including loss caused by deleting the App.

// PROHIBITED USES

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use cheats, exploits, automation, or modified clients to inflate scores or interfere with the leaderboard
Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our backend or any related systems
Distribute or resell the App

// DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

// LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL 1 BIT STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

// CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

// GOVERNING LAW

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
