> How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Open Settings → Premium in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Premium.
> iCloud sync isn't working
- Premium required for iCloud sync
- Check iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud — iCloud Drive must be on
- Confirm 1 Bit Notes is enabled in the iCloud app list
- Force-quit the app and reopen — sync runs on launch
- Still stuck? Email us with your iOS version
> I forgot the passcode for a locked note
Locked notes use on-device encryption with your chosen passcode. We cannot recover it. If you forgot it, the only option is to delete the note and start over. We don't store or have access to your passcodes.
> How do I export my notes?
Open any note → tap Share → choose your format (plain text, Markdown, or PDF depending on the note type). For bulk export, use Settings → Export.
> How do I delete all my data?
Two options:
- Inside the app: Settings → Advanced → Delete All Data
- Full uninstall: Delete the app from your home screen. This removes all local data. If you used iCloud sync, your notes remain in iCloud until you delete them from Settings → iCloud → Manage Storage → 1 Bit Notes.
