> Shapes & lines
1 BIT PIXEL
Draw straight and curved lines, and outlined or filled shapes. Drag from a start point to a finish point; release to commit. Hold the 1:1 option for perfect squares and circles.
Lines, curves & arcs
The line tool draws a straight segment. Curve and arc are two-step: draw the baseline, then drag to bend it. Set the thickness with the brush size.

Details & edge cases
- Curve and arc are two-step: the first drag sets the span, the second bends it — release to commit.
- If an arc's three points line up straight, it falls back to drawing a plain straight line.
- Brush size sets the outline thickness; a 1‑pixel line gives the cleanest pixel-art edge.
Rectangles & ellipses
Drag to draw a rectangle, ellipse or rounded rectangle. Toggle Outline vs filled, and set the corner radius for rounded rects.

Details & edge cases
- A rounded rectangle's corner radius is capped at half its shorter side, so tiny boxes only round a little.
- Toggle Outline vs filled; the outline's thickness follows the brush size.
- Confine a shape to a selection to clip it to that area — shapes draw on the active layer only.
Polygons & stars
Polygon and star build regular shapes — choose the number of sides or points (and the inner ratio for stars). Outlined or filled, like the other shapes.

Details & edge cases
- Polygon sides and star points are clamped to between 3 and 12.
- A star's inner ratio — how spiky it is — is limited to between 0.1 and 0.9.
- At very small sizes a polygon can look slightly irregular; that's the pixel grid, not a bug.
